IMU in Type 3 Missions
This 2 hour session is designed for the Command Staff and Section Chiefs that will be using the IMU to manage complex (Type 3) missions where there are expectaions of multiple operational periods and significant use of CAP resources. The session will cover the basic operational steps and modules that are needed to effectively and safely conduct the mission.
The training will be a combination of Powerpoint slides, demonstrations, and actual inputs by the attendees on their computers.

1) The IMU must be installed on your
workstation
2) Your workstation must have internet access
5) You should have a CAP Incident Commander or Section Chief achievement (any level - trainee is OK)
All training sessions are conducted using the web based tools from WebEx.com. This services provides interactive screen displays and uses an audio confernece dial-in for voice (the number used is probably long distance for most users and any charges are your responsibility). VOI calls may also be used. Since the WebEx service is not free, I am forced to make a small charge to users so that I can recover some of the fees that I have to pay.
