The IMU is a workstation based toolbox that provides a set of utilities to assist and force multiply the mission staff's ability to safely and efficiently manage CAP operations missions. PANDER Systems close working relationaship with the CAP National Headquarters staff has allowed the IMU to use member and resource information from e-services and Ops Qual to populate the field databases used in conducting the mission. This relationship also allows information from the mission conducted using the IMU to be uploaded in near real time to WMIRS.

The WMU is a web base toolbox that is designed to assist almost all wing/unit directorates and staff members with tools to assist them in managing and performing thier functions. The tools provide functionality and database maintenance of those areas that do not have a corresponding tool in e-services or Ops Qual at the National Headquarters level. The WMU databases incorporate a daily download of the information contained in the CAP Headquarters database to that the WMU is able to expand the available information to meet the needs of the field. The WMU has a real-time capability to pass information from the WMU to WMIRS making it unnecessary for CAP users of the WMU to have to deal with the WMIRS interfaces. The WMU provides:

  • Aircraft Maintenance modules
  • Flight Release modules
  • Flight Time reconcilliation modules
  • Pilot lists and flight time summaries
  • ES qualification reports
  • ES paging system
  • Safety Meeting tracking
  • Vehicle tracking and maintenance modules
